Gentile believers, wild olive shoots, have been grafted into the olive tree of the Lord and now “share in the nourishing sap from the olive root” (Romans 11:17). The directive for these Gentile believers is to stay humble, pray for the salvation of the Jewish people, learn more about the tree, cause people to take notice of the Messiah, and produce good fruit.
