In Romans 15, as Paul describes not only his motivation for doing what he does – ministering to others to lead them to worship God – he also describes how he goes where no one else has gone to proclaim the gospel, how he rallies the body of Christ to meet social and spiritual needs, and how prayer undergirds all that he does. Paul sets an example for us and motivates us to act similarly to minister to others.
