Living according to the Spirit is living according to the love of God – the love of God for us and our love for him. It is only when we consider the attributes of God’s love for us – his sacrificial, unconditional, unlimited, and eternal love that covers over a multitude of sins – that we can love others according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. We must make a conscious choice every day to live according to the love of God.
