Based on Romans 8:1-13, we live according to the Spirit when we live free of condemnation, we do not set our minds on what the flesh desires, and, quite importantly, we set our minds on what the Spirit desires. Romans 8:14-30 teaches us that living according to the Spirit means that:
- We live in awareness of our adoption as children of God
- We live in awareness of our present reality and our future glory
- We live in awareness of our weaknesses and the strengthening of the Spirit
