Sin, Righteousness & Judgment - Part 1

Romans 1:18 states that the “wrath of God is being revealed from heaven.” In verses 24, 26, and 28 we read that God has given human beings over to their sinful desires, shameful lusts, and depraved minds. We can understand these statements only if we first understand that God created humanity in his image and intended for human beings to connect to him and reflect him. When human beings choose to worship everything other than God, when we choose not to reflect the image of God, then God gives us up to what we want, to what we desire.
