Peter encourages us to rejoice when we suffer for Christ’s sake! That’s easier said than done. It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit when our perspective and thinking have been transformed, we can recognize what the Lord is allowing in our earthly lives today for the sake of our heavenly lives tomorrow.
