Like newborn babies, we are to crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s word so that by knowing and applying the word of God we may grow up in our salvation. We are entirely dependent on God to feed us and nurture us when we are born again, when we are spiritual newborns. Without spiritual milk, we will die.
