Paul challenges the Corinthians to test themselves to see if they are in the faith. This wasn’t a test of whether they were saved from their sins. Rather, it was a test of whether their conduct matched their professed faith in Christ. It was a test of whether their faith was accompanied by action. It is a test that remains valid for us today.
