The Corinthians’ objections to the resurrection were focused on how a dead body could possibly be resuscitated. Their focus was on the natural (physical) body. Paul’s focus, however, was on the infinite, all-knowing, all-powerful God who created our spirits, souls, and bodies, provided a plan of salvation and restoration to deal with death (the wages of our sin), and made a promise to give us a spiritual body in the resurrection.
