Peter’s physical rescue from prison is dramatic and miraculous. He is bound by chains, between 2 soldiers, with guards at each set of gates. And, yet, as if in a dream, an angel leads Peter out of the prison and into the street with absolutely no difficulty. But Acts 12:1-24 has more to teach us from the life of Herod than the life of Peter. And, in this case, the lessons are for what we should not do rather than what we should.
