The Christmas Story

Philip was led by the Holy Spirit to leave Samaria – where he had a flourishing ministry – to share the gospel with one man, an (Ethiopian) African court official who was returning home from Jerusalem. Philip joined this man in his chariot as he was reading the book of Isaiah. Philip explained what the prophet had foretold about Jesus, including the glorious miracle of Jesus’ birth. The Christmas story is a fulfillment of prophecy, of what was spoken in the past, and an assurance of the future. It also equips us to evangelize, to tell the good news of the Christmas story to everyone.
