Recognize the Time

The crowd roared, “Hosanna! Blessed is the king!” at Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. In a few short days the same crowd shouted, “We have no king but Caesar! Away with him (Jesus)! Crucify him!” Jesus wept for the people of Jerusalem because they did not recognize the time of God’s coming to them. They did not understand the times. Understanding the times is just as important for us now as it was for the children of Israel.
