In closing his letter to the Corinthians, Paul provides five directives for Christian living. If the summary of what it means to be a Christian is to receive, believe, and hold firmly to the gospel message, the summary of how to then live daily as a Christian is summarized here in verses 13-14. These directives are familiar themes from Paul’s letters to other churches. They serve as important points of application for every believer.
