When we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, we receive the Holy Spirit as the seal of salvation. Paul points out that it is the Holy Spirit who knows the deep things of God and reveals it to us so that we may understand what God has given us, what he destined for our glory even before the creation of time. The Holy Spirit reveals the mind of Christ to us. We can evaluate all things by considering what Jesus would think about it.
